Conversely, it would not be worthwhile to advertise on a website selling telescopes because you are likely to miss your target audience. While there may be some stargazers with an interest in fishing, your advertising dollars and sense would be better utilized on websites more closely related to your business.

Another consideration when purchasing advertising space on other websites is the amount of traffic the other websites receive. You want to place your advertisement on a website closely related to your own that is likely to attract a similar audience, receiving a large amount of attention. Engaging a website that has a great mount of genuine traffic each month will help to ensure that your business achieves excellent exposure through this form of advertising.
